I Love Limerick

I Love Limerick was created in 2008 by Richard Lynch. It is a project motivated and inspired by Limerick people focused entirely on the city and her citizens. Through a series of exciting and well-produced documentaries, lifestyle programming, interviews and photography, the I Love Limerick project aims to encourage a wider respect and pride for the city

I Love Limerick showcases the efforts and achievements of Limerick based organisations in the community, including the voluntary, artistic, cultural and micro enterprise sectors, offering artists, new enterprise, established businesses,organisations and charities the chance to market themselves utilising print, photography, video programming and social networking platforms.

Create No Hate is a campaign started by film maker Luke Culhane in order to speak out about cyber bullying and has hopes for the movement to expand into something that can speak out against hate as a whole.

Luke wanted to do something to speak out against cyber bullying and wanted to use a medium that he is passionate about such as filmmaking to do so. Aided by his father Dermot Culhane and his cousin and godfather, videographer Diarmuid Greene, Luke spent over 40 hours planning, filming and editing the video in time for Safe Internet Day.

Since the launch of the video Luke has been interviewed by Sky News, Fox News, RTE, TV3, Ryan Tubridy, Ray Darcy and countless others and has become a global internet sensation.

Honouring Aaron previously titled ‘Remembering Aaron’, was established in 2015 in memory of Aaron O’Flaherty who tragically passed away in 2014 at Temple Street Children’s Hospital after an accident at the Blackhead Lighthouse, Co. Clare. The aim of Honouring Aaron is to raise funds for Temple Street Children’s Hospital and also a number of children’s charities in Limerick.

Cecilia, Aaron’s mum and founder of the organisation, remains entirely grateful for the work and support shown by the people of Temple Street during such a traumatic time “They were so good to him. They were all touched by Aaron in the time he was there and treated us with dignity and kindness,” Cecilia said.

She has three passions in life - Fitness, Music and Media and has carved out a career incorporating them into her life.
