Over 20 leading Irish and international fashion media and influencers cam to Limerick for 24 hours on, Thursday, 11thMay for a showcase of Limerick’s fashion industry, highlighting independent boutiques, designers and young fashion design talent.
Limerick City with LSAD came togethere as the first time an Irish city has hosted such a happening. Style maven Celia Holman-Lee coordinated an A list guest list, including designers Sonya Lennon and Brendan Courtney, former Xposé presenter Aisling O’Loughlin and Sybil Mulcahy, and Gemma Williams from Vogue Italia. Starting with a morning fashion show at House Limerick, they were treated to a showcase of unique and quirky Limerick boutiques. This was followed by a High Fashion Afternoon Tea at the Savoy Hotel, which focused on world famous Munster based fashion designers and include the history of the textile industry in the city.Pic.
